Bachelor of General Studies - Field Major in Gerontology
The instructional mission of degree programs in gerontology at Wichita State University is to provide knowledge of aging and its impact on individuals, families, and society to students preparing for or engaged in careers in which they will plan, manage and deliver services for the aging through public or private sector organizations, agencies or minstitutions.
The Gerontology Program offers the undergraduate degree through the Bachelor of General Studies, with a Field Major in Gerontology. A minor in Gerontology is also offered at the undergrauate level.
